Panaji :Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated 50 UV-C Disinfection Chambers provided by Signify Innovations India and Disha Foundation to support Covid frontline warriors in the city today.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister said we managed to control Covid in Goa quiet effectively. He said Goa Government has partnered with Signify Innovations India Limited and Disha Foundation to enhance the personal safety of frontline Covid warriors in Goa using UV-C Lighting.
Dr. Sawant commended the work done by Signify Innovations India Limited and Disha Foundation, whose joint initiative has provided 50 UV-C Chambers for Goa. These 50 of its UV-C Disinfection Chambers will be installed in hospitals, key police stations and government offices across the State which will provide much needed protection from Covid and other disease to frontline workers during Covid and post-Covid times, the Chief Minister added.
Speaking about the initiative, Shri Abhishek Dhodi, Key Account Manager, Signify Innovations India said that Signify has always stood for a cause that aims at giving back to the society. The drive is a part of Signify larger effort to enhance the personal safety of frontline workers like doctors, police and other vulnerable sections of the society.
Dr. Subhojit Dey, Executive Director, Disha Foundation expressed gratitude to Chief Minister for supporting this cause and to Signify Innovations India for providing the latest technology that will keep our frontline warriors safe and healthy. This disinfection technology will protect key personnel even in post-covid times she added.
