PANAJI: Leader of Opposition (LoP) Yuri Alemao has warned of agitation by Pernem Taxi operators if the Chief Minister fails to meet them.
“Agitation by Pernem taxi operators will spread across Goa if CM Pramod Sawant doesn’t meet them, CM is left with no other option,” said LoP Yuri.
He further demands that Sarkar must go to their dari to resolve their demands.
“State government should immediately address the grievances and demands of the taxi operators,” said Alemao.
Alemao added that CM has no other option than to come and meet the taxi operators in Pernem. He has to meet the taxi operators, or else the agitation will spread across Goa: LoP Yuri Alemao.
GPCC chief Amit Patkar said that transport minister Mauvin Godinho should tender an apology to the taxi operators for making a statement on the floor of the House that Rs 500 crore was lost due to taxi operators.
AAP MLA Venzy Viegas urged taxi operators to remain united, pressing for their demands.
