Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Monday regretted 14 deaths in the State but also blamed the people for delaying treatment.
In a video message CM said that in order to defeat COVID19 people’s co-operation was the key.
“I regret there were 14 death on Monday, we have to bring down the mortality rate,” he said.
Sawant said that a 26 and a 45 year old youth were brought dead to hospitals.
“I feel sad that despite symptoms people are not coming forward to the hospital,” he said.
He urged people not to ignore symptoms like any body ache, fever, cough.
“Please report to the hospital or call on 104 and 108 and get tested,” he said adding
“We have to defeat COVID19 and your co-operation is important.”
