PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today has hinted of extending the State Level Curfew beyond July 12.
“We need to think about continuing with the state curfew for some more time,” said Sawant
The Goa government had extended the ongoing Covid-related curfew till July 12. The curfew was first imposed on May 9 this year and has been extended several times since then.
“State level curfew extended till 7 am, 12 July 2021. Shops can remain open from 7 am to 6 pm. Saloons and outdoor sports complex/stadiums may also open,” CM Pramod Sawant had said.
CM Sawant has also said that the state is prepared to handle a possible third wave of Covid-19. He said a committee of experts and required infrastructure were in place to tackle the third wave.
