PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has urged the Public Works Department (PWD) to shoulder the responsibility of overcoming the problem of potholes on roads by November.
“I urged the PWD officials to shoulder the responsibility of overcoming the problem of potholes on roads by November; there is a need of assessing the necessity or priority of any project,” said CM Sawant.
He further said that the state government should stand for the interest of the State and utilize state exchequer funds judiciously and for the right purpose.
“I am satisfied over the cooperation of all the departments for the development of the State,” he said.
PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar said that the Jal Jivan Mission helped many people in the State and that the problem of temporary staff would be resolved.
“I appeal to the stakeholders to address the problems of road, water, infrastructure in the State,” said Pauskar.
