CURCHOREM: With Monsoon settling down, there is an increase breeding of mosquitoes giving the alarm to Malaria and Dengue Disease.
To combat the growth of mosquitoes, Amit Patkar, Curchorem Congress Leader under Vibrant Kudchade Initiative and Curchorem Block Congress, today started Mist Fogging Activity from Curchorem Market.
“Smoke fogging is injurious to health; thus, we have brought a Mist Fogging Machine, which we are using as per guidelines of Health Department. Today along with other members of Congress Block, we have started fogging activity and will continue in all wards of Curchorem Constituency.
Precaution is better than cure; thus, my aim is always to better my Curchorem people, which will be achieved with good health and environment-friendly surroundings. With this activity, we aim to control dengue, malaria and another disease”, said Mr Patkar in his statement.
Present were Curchorem Block Congress President Pushkal Sawant, Senior Congress Leader Manohar Naik, Seva Dal President Sanjay Naik, Block Members Manuel Clement, Elton Fernandes, Pires, Denzil Fernandes, Tejas Sawant, Irfan Killedar, Parag Sabnis, Market Association Secretary Agnel Pires, Kastub Bhise, Santosh Hidaduggi and other members were present.
