PANAJI: BJP Goa State President Damu Naik on Friday acknowledged that some of the rumours doing the rounds in the media are true, adding that certain steps need to be taken to strengthen the party.
However, Naik remained tight-lipped about the identity of the leader who will be sworn in as a minister tomorrow, ahead of Diwali.
While confirming that there is a need for organisational strengthening, the BJP state chief declined to divulge details of the anticipated ministerial induction, keeping the political suspense alive.
His remarks have added to speculation over a possible Cabinet reshuffle or expansion in Goa ahead of the festive season.
