PANAJI: Finally, the COVID-19 positivity in the state has dropped to 8.48 percent after a long gap. Goa today reported 207 new COVID-19 positive cases. While there 406 recoveries and 6 deaths reported today. The active covid count of the state has reached 3,268.
Goa recorded 6 more deaths due to covid in the last 24 hours taking the death toll of the state to 2,990.
As per DHS health bulletin, a 49-year-old man from Salcete, 75-year-old woman from Verem,72-year-old woman from Ponda, 71-year-old man from Arlem, 83-year-old man from Curchorem and a 86-year-old woman from Pernem succumbed to covid in the last 24-hours.
The recovery rate is 96.19 percent. The patients discharges from hospital today are 45 and patients admitted today are 27.
