Crime Branch assists Forest Department to track down 2 accused of ivory smuggling

In a major raid, Crime Branch, Goa has assisted Forest Department – tracks down accused of ivory smuggling

Forest Dept. Of Goa and Karnataka were on the look out for smugglers of ivory and approached Crime Branch Goa.

PIs Rahul Parab and Chimulkar led a team of Crime Branch with forest officers which apprehended the two absconding accused –  Vishnu Harmalkar age 24 r/o Aqnivaddo, Bardez Goa. and Anil Parsekar age 30yrs r/o Aradi Porvorim Goa.

Vishnu had procured the contraband and had paid Anil money to transport it across the border in Karnataka.
