Day 2: -28/09/2023: Inter Collegiate Football Championship Men Results

At Goa University Ground, Taleigao

In the first match of the day C.E.S College Cuncolim showed full domination by defeating V.M.S. Hospitality, Raia by 7-0. Goal Scorer for C.E.S College Cuncolim was one each Rahul Gaonkar, Livon Dias, Akshay Velip two goals by Ivo Costa in the first half. In the second half C.E.S College Cuncolim scored another two goals which was scored one each by Pranay Gaonkar and Ivo Costa registered his hat-trick of goals in the 61st minute of the match.

In the second match of the day, S.S. Dempo College cruised into the next round by defeating P.G. Goa University by 3-0. In the first half saw two goals scored by S.S. Dempo College which came Vishavet Palkar and Chirag Konthankar. In the second half a goal from Chirag Konthankar sealed the victory for S.S. Dempo College.

At Rosary College Ground, Navelim.

First match saw a one sided affair where in Chowgule College, Margao defeated S.R.I.E.I.T Shiroda with a score of 7-0. In the first half Chowgule College scored three goals, which was scored by Aryan Pattamakar, Norman Mascarenhas and Shenoy Colaco. In the second half, Chowgule College continued their domination, putting in another four goals which came one each from Khalil Barreto, Shelton Fernandes and two goals were scored by Adarsh Ray.

In the second match at Navelim, M.E.S College, Zuarinagar defeated Shree Mallikarjun College, Canacona by 4-1. The first goal of the match was scored by Pradeep Bind of M.E.S College which was filled by a graceful equalizer by Sidhesh Gaonkar of Shree Mallikarjun College. Before the end of first half M.E.S College took the lead with a goal by Jagdish Chawan. In the second half, M.E.S College showed full domination and scored another two goals which came from Shivam Baraik and Sainath Jambothicar to seal the victory.
