Ayush Minister Shripad Naik is doing “good” and his health parameters are stable for now, the Manipal Hospital said here today.
Dr Shekhar Salkar said the AIIMS doctors are satisfied with the line of treatment given to the minister.
“I will not say he is very good but his condition is stable and much better than yesterday. However, he would take time to recover completely,” he Dr Salkar said the AIIMS team does not want to shift the Minister to Delhi.
“Shifting him will be much more difficult and the team wants to take no risk,” he said.
Dr Salkar says that the AIIMS team may leave tonight and another doctor may arrive by tomorrow and stay for a longer time.
The second test report of Naik is awaited today.
“His first test was negative and if today’s test too come negative he would be shifted to normal ICU and the treatment would be better,” he said.
