PANAJI: Karatekas of Don Bosco Oratory Panjim Dojo excelled at the Japan Karate Association of India had organized 3 days training seminar & 2 days National Tournament at Campal, Panaji.
Arsh Sheikh of JKA-GOA won the silver medal in the Under-16 kumite category while Induja Sawant (Under 12 kumite) bronze and Annabelle Pinho (Under 10 group) Bronze.
Besides, Mayank Kavlekar and Vihaan Dhume participated in seminar & National Tournament & bagged certificates
Smallest karateka of JKA-Goa team, Criselda Pia Fernandes.. She showed her courage at age of 5yrs by participating in the National tournament..
JKA-GOA, was started in 1978 by Sensei Kishan Gopani at Don Bosco n now his student Sensei Kiran Shenvi Kerker gives training of karate/Self Defence at Don Bosco Oratory.
