While the COVID19 is on a climb throughout the State, the health workers seem to have come more vulnerable to the virus as they treat the common man.
Eight employees attached to the Urban Health Centre, Panaji have so far tested positive for COVID19 in last few days.
Sources revealed that many of the patients who come for checking for flu etc test positive for COVID.
Sadly, the health workers are given no proper PPEs and other equipment’s.
goemkarponn.com visted the Panaji health centre and found out that there was no social distancing despite the fact that every patient queueing up is sick.
“We cannot do anything about 60-70 and sometime hundred people come at a time in the morning and there is nobody to ask them to maintain social distancing,” said a worker on condition of anonymity.
