PANAJI:Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today informed that the entire stretch of Atal Setu Bridge would be completed by December 2021.
Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte had raised a calling attention stating the apprehensions and anxiety in the minds of the people due to the incomplete works relating to the Atal Setu Project.
Khaunte said that the project was inaugurated in January, 2019, however the projects is still undergoing progress / repairs till date.
“The arm connecting to Panaji remains incomplete while the bridge is constantly being repaired for potholes,” Khaunte said
He further said that the number of accidents recorded on the bridge alone is strikingly high and requires urgent attention. In addition the potholes and sharp-ridged and deep which can lead to accident and vehicular damage.
“The bridge was inaugurated 2 years ago, however, it is still having active manpower and open construction works,” he added
