PERNEM: Pernem Police have registered a case following a complaint by Kiran Ramchandra Korgaonkar, alleging that seven persons wrongfully restrained him and his family from entering their ancestral house at Korgao, Pernem.
According to the complaint, the incident took place on October 1 near Kamleshwar Temple. The accused allegedly placed a padlock on the main entrance gate of the ancestral property, preventing the complainant and his family from entering the house.
The complainant further alleged that CCTV equipment, including the DVR, along with other property and belongings, was damaged. He also alleged that the accused threatened him with dire consequences.
The case was registered at 12:11 am on October 7. The seven accused named in the complaint are Prabhat Shashikant Korgaonkar, Narendra Korgaonkar, Shweta Korgaonkar, Sujata Naik, Deepika Deelip Kamulkar, Deelip Kamulkar and Sadanand Korgao, all residents of Korgao, Pernem.
The matter is currently under investigation by PSI Aditya Gad of Pernem Police Station.
