PANAJI: In a profound display of generosity, the family of 22-year-old Sahil from Kerala, working at Mopa Airport, chose to give the ultimate gift, that is, life to others through organ donation.
“Their selfless decision to donate his organs has brought hope and has given a new life to multiple recipients,” said Health Minister Vishwajit Rane
He further said that January 2025 has already marked a milestone for the Goa Navi Jivit donor transplant program, with eight patients receiving a second chance at life through two remarkable organ donation events.
“These stories remind us that behind every medical marvel stands a family’s courage, a donor’s generosity and a community’s collective compassion, turning moments of loss into life-changing miracles of hope and renewal,” he added
