PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the first government job advertisement through the Goa Staff Selection Commission for group C posts will be released before Dec 31,.
“The process has been delayed a little,” he said. The process of recruitment is expected to start immediately after advertisements are published in newspapers and on the commission’s website (https://gssc.goa.gov.in/).
Exams will be computer based. Interviews will be held for the posts in January or February, CM added.
He reiterated that one year experience or one year apprenticeship will be mandatory for group C posts from MTS to LDC. He was speaking in the phone-in public interaction program today.
He said that all government posts other than those filled through Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) will now be filled through the GSSC.
Exams for recruitment for all vacant posts in government departments will be held together, once in a year. All the departments have been asked to give details of the present vacant posts and the posts which will go vacant in the near future to the Staff Selection Commission within the next 60 days i.e. by July 31, this year.
After this, recruitment process will commence for smaller number of posts in September and bulk posts by October. By November-December, the exams will be held together for all posts and actual recruitment would start, Sawant added
