CURTORIM: Maina-Curtorim Police have registered an FIR against former Goa Sports Treasurer and ex-Congress Secretary Ashraph Pandiyal for allegedly forging the signature of a deceased person and submitting forged documents to authorities.
According to police, Pandiyal, who also previously served as President of the Anjuman Society, is accused of falsifying the signature of Abdul Kader Sab Kundur, who had passed away on February 24, 2024, and using the documents before the Registrar and the High Court in connection with the society’s renewal.
An offence has been registered under Sections 336(3) and 340(2) read with 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.
