PANAJI: An unidentified male was found lying dead at Red Rosary ground at La Campala in Panaji on Sunday evening.
According to police, a phone call was received at around 4.45 pm from PCR Panaji informing that a man was lying motionless at the ground. Police personnel rushed to the spot and conducted preliminary enquiries with locals; however, the identity of the deceased could not be established.
Police stated that no incriminating articles were found at the scene.
An unnatural death case has been registered at Panaji Police Station under Section 194 of the BNSS, and further investigation is being carried out by LPSI Sapna Gawas.
