MARGAO: Four pedestrians were injured after a car allegedly driven in a rash and negligent manner hit them near Kohinoor Junction in Margao on October 4, 2026.
According to a complaint lodged by ASI Dilkush Velip of Margao Town Police Station, the incident occurred at around 6.45 pm when the accused driver, Jeronimo Colaco, a resident of Raia, Salcete, was proceeding from Caro Corner towards Kohinoor Junction in Margao.
On reaching the junction, the car allegedly dashed against four pedestrians identified as Lilavati Tirki, Phulmani Kumari and Anuj Tirki, all residents of Uttorda, Mormugao, and Francis Britto, a resident of Varca, Salcete.
The car further collided with another moving vehicle, causing damage to it. The four pedestrians sustained injuries in the incident.
Further investigation is being conducted by ASI Dilkush Velip of Margao Town Police Station.
