PANAJI: In a significant step towards bridging the gap between industry and education, the valedictory ceremony of the Goa 15 workshop on Multi-Point Fuel Injection (MPFI), Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDI), and Dual Fuel engines was held recently. This event, conducted by NITTTR Bhopal’s Goa extension centre in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki and Goa Hyundai, underscored the imperative need for technological upgrades in the automotive sector.
The ceremony was graced by key figures including Dr. Sanjay Alan Rocha, Professor and Head of NITTTR Goa extension centre, and Prof. Govind Parvatkar, who emphasized the critical role of staying updated with the latest advancements in automotive technology. The workshop was designed to update and upgrade the knowledge of engineering and polytechnic teachers, ensuring they are equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.
During the workshop, Dr. Sanjay Alan Rocha addressed the gathering of engineering and polytechnic teachers, highlighting the necessity of continuous learning and adaptation in the rapidly evolving field of automotive engineering. Prof. Govind Parvatkar, the chief guest, delved into the specifics of dual fuel engines, CRDI, and MPFI, stressing the importance of these technologies in meeting future emission standards and enhancing engine performance.
