Panaji: Medal winners from the Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 were honoured in a special felicitation ceremony, where Ramesh Tawadkar, Minister for Sports, Government of Goa, commended the athletes for their achievements and dedication. The event celebrated the success of Goa’s contingent at the recently concluded games held in Chhattisgarh.
Goa delivered an impressive performance at the national-level competition, securing a total of four medals across different sporting categories. The tally included one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals, reflecting a balanced and commendable effort by the athletes. The achievements came in disciplines such as athletics, weightlifting, and football, highlighting the state’s growing strength in diverse sporting arenas.
