PORVORIM: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today informed that he has ordered immediate suspension of the Administrator of Comunidades of South Zone, Margao if he was found guilty of the allegations levelled against him by the opposition in the assembly.
“The Administrator of Comunidades of South Zone, Margao has been suspended; the order will come out today,” said Sawant.
Sawant assured that the government will hold an inquiry into the complaints against the Administrator of Comunidades, South Goa, alleging that he was coming to the office in an inebriated state.
Opposition had highlighted paralysis in the functioning of the office due to the alleged habitual absenteeism of the incumbent Administrator leading to a lack of supervision of staff and significant delays in office procedures neglect in the disposal of files relating to illegal constructions and inordinate delay in issuing of demolition orders.
