The Goa Olympic Association (GOA) distributed prize money to the medal-winning athletes and their respective coaches from the 37th National Games, held in Goa, during the GOA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on July 27 at Caculo Mall, Panaji. The event was graced by Hon Union Minister and GOA President Shripad Naik, Secretary General Gurudatta Bhakta, Treasurer Jayesh Naik, and Vice President Raju Mangueshkar, alongside representatives of State sports Associations.
GOA President, Shripad Naik lauded the athletes: “Today’s prize distribution is a testament to the dedication and excellence of our athletes and coaches. We are proud of their achievements at the 37th National Games and remain committed to supporting and nurturing talent in Goa.”
“The GOA function highlights the collective efforts of our athletes, coaches, and associations. The GOA is dedicated to providing the necessary resources and encouragement to ensure our athletes continue to thrive and excel.” stated GOA Secretary General, Gurudatta Bhakta.
