PANAJI: The Goa government is set to acquire 9,100 tablet computers for teachers as part of efforts to expand the use of digital resources in the education system.
The procurement is being taken up under the Samagra Shiksha programme, with the Info Tech Corporation of Goa Ltd (ITG) handling the tender process on behalf of Goa Samagra Shiksha and the Directorate of Education.
The proposed devices will enable teachers to access educational applications, digital study material and other resources made available by the Directorate of Education.
The tender has been issued through the State government’s e-tendering system. Bidders seeking to participate are required to complete the prescribed registration process and meet the technical requirements specified in the tender.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening teachers’ access to technology and supporting the growing use of digital tools in schools across Goa.
