PANAJI: The state government has issued the draft notification amending the Goa Motor Vehicles Act to facilitate the setting up of a blue cab counter at the Mopa International Airport.
“Parking slots at Manohar International Airport.— Consent from GMR Goa International Airport Ltd. for providing parking slots/pickup bays at Manohar International Airport at Mopa shall be sufficient for the issuance of permits by the Regional Transport Authority,” it said.
Motor cabs attached to blue cab prepaid taxi service at ManoharInternationalAirport at Mopa shall be painted in blue colour, as prescribed by the Regional Transport Authority and the rest of the body in white colour, the notification states.
“Painting and marking of motorcabs.— Motorcabs attached to Blue cab Prepaid Taxi Service at Manohar International Airport at Mopa shall be painted in blue colour, as prescribed by the Regional Transport Authority and rest of the body in white colour,” it said.
