PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today has declared that Goa state has eradicated manual scavenging.
“Goa declares manual scavenging eradicated; Goa uses totally mechanized methods; manual scavenging is no longer practiced in Goa,” said Sawant
He further said that his government has provided Rs 38.42 lakh compensation to three victims who had died in state while on duty.
