PANAJI: Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora and V. M.Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar registered wins in the Goa University Inter Collegiate Cricket Men Championship 2023-24, at Goa University Cricket Ground, Taleigao.
In the first match, Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora defeated Dhempe College, Miramar by 7 wickets.
Put into bat, Dhempe College, Miramar 90/10 in 14.2 overs.
Rounak Pednekar 50(29) was the top-scorer. For Dharbandora Shirshak Naik 4/23 and Pranay Gaonkar 3/06 picked wickets.
In reply, Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbadora scored 91/3 in 11.3 overs.
Siddhant Gawas 39(25) not out, Sapnish Satarkar 22(13) were top scorers. Bhuvan Arlekar 1/09 picked wicket for Dhempe.
In the second match, V. M.Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar defeated S.S.A., Government College of Arts and Commerce, Pernem by 65 runs.
The toss was won by V. M.Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar and elected to bat first.
V.M.Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar scored 190/6 in 20 Overs.
Shoaibh Shaikh 47(26), Swayam Naik 46(26) were topscorers for Salgaocar while Aditya Parab 3/33, Niraj Naik 2/41 picked wickets for Pernem college.
In reply, S.S.A., Government College of Arts and Commerce, Pernem could manage only 125/8 in 20 overs.
Dipesh Parsekar 54(34) not out was highest scorer while
Pranay Malik 3/28, Abhishek Dawaskar 2/10 were wicket takers for Salgaocar.
