PANAJI: Crime Branch unit of the Goa Police has busted a gambling racket at Anjuna and arrested four people from Delhi.
As per information, the raid was conducted at La Pasado, Villa – A, Badem, Anjuna, wherein the accused were caught red-handed while they were in the process of accepting bets from customers from Delhi on a live cricket match of Pakistan Super League, 2023 played between Lahore Qulandars, and Peshawar Zalmi held on February 26.
The accused have been identified as Surinder Karla, Rajat Karla, Kashish Karla and Hitesh Karla, all residents of Adarsh Nagar, North West Delhi.
Also, Five mobiles worth Rs 2 lakh and other items were seized from the accused.
