VASCO: Vasco police on Thursday seized 18.75 litres of liquor of different brands all worth Rs 28,540 near Joggers Park Chicalim.
The Vasco police inspector Kapil Nayak speaking to the media said that they will later hand over the seized liquor to the excise department for further formalities.
“We were on patrolling duty when we found the liquor bottles lying hidden near the Joggers Park at Chicalim. There were around 25 bottles of 750 ML of different brands of Indian-made foreign liquor which we have seized. We have seized 9 bottles of Black and White whisky, 7 bottles of Antiquity whisky, 8 bottles of Vat 69 whisky and 1 bottle of Black Dog whisky. We’ll now hand over the seized liquor bottles to the excise department,” said Nayak.
