PANAJI: The state government has admitted that the Covid 19 protocol is not being strictly followed at the Patradevi border check post.
With lapse being noted, the collectorate North Goa has directed compulsory checking of all vehicles specially bus passengers as per the prevailing order.
“Details of buses and number of passengers will be recorded in the register every day from today,” the order states
Further, overall monitoring of the checkpost has been tightened.
A video about bus passengers coming from Maharashtra being allowed to enter Goa via Patradevi check post without checking Covid certificate went viral.
