PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today informed that government has commenced clearing pending bills of upto Rs 25 lakhs and above.
CM also informed that bills upto March 2020 paid to contractors.
“State government has paid Rs 500 crores worth bill to all the contractors of PWD, GSIDC under the RSL Scheme uptill March 31,” said CM
CM further said that the government has taken a loan from Bank of Maharashtra for a repayment period of 6 months.
Referring to messages on social media purportedly from CM Sawant asking for money, CM said, “Looks like one of my old Facebook account was hacked.” He further added that his office has filed complaint in this regards.
