PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today said that from the coming Academic year, the state government has decided to implement the new school education system of 5+3 at foundation level as per the National Education Policy (NEP).
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today chaired the Empowered Committee meeting.
“From the coming Academic year onwards, the Government has decided to implement new school education system of 5+3 at Foundation level as per National Education Policy for all government run schools,” said CM Pramod Sawant
He further said that the primary classes will be clubbed with secondary schools.
CM Sawant further said that no decision yet on NEP at higher education level.
