Just before the break, Sporting had a good opportunity when Lloyd Cardozo set up Siddarth at the edge of the box, but the midfielder’s powerful half volley was blocked by the rival custodian.
Sporting did get their second 10 minutes into the second half when Liston Cardozo’s cross found its way to Vidipt Dua, who headed in perfectly.
Vidipt could have added another later in the match after being set up by Doyal Alves, but his attempt was blocked by the Vasco keeper.
In the 80th minute, Lloyd sent in a dangerous cross and substitute Jonas Colaco gave the finishing touches to make it 3-1.
Two minutes later, hard-working Lloyd finished with a deft placement for the fourth.
