PORVORIM: Industries Minister Vishwajit Rane today said that Hindustan Aeronautics Limited(HAL) which had made investment of approx Rs 10 crores in Goa since 2017 for its helicopter repair and servicing project has been put on hold due to Covid-19 pandemic
Industries Minister Vishwajit Rane was replying to the state legislative assembly today.
The project has potential to employ 150 people, he added. The facility has been proposed as a joint venture between HAL and the Goa government’s Economic Development Corporation.
HAL has been allotted on transfer, Plot No. 2 admeasuring 29,991 m2 in Honda Industrial Estate on 16/11/2017 he further informed.
