BICHOLIM: The health minister, Vishwajeet Rane stating that Goa is doing good work in controlling Covid-19 told only those who have taken both the vaccines should be allowed entry into the state.
“Goa can be kept safe only if we allow only those who have taken two vaccines.” Rane told adding “today we have arranged this programme as the situation is improving” he told.
He thanked all the health staff for their contribution towards controlling Covid cases. He assured that more facilities would be made available to Bicholim CHC. “There will be no reason to shift the patients to Mapusa as soon all the facilities would be given in Bicholim” he told.
He told that there are many who have contributed towards controling covid including police.
Bicholim MLA and speaker, Rajesh Patnekar appreciated the health workers who risked their own life to save others. He told that the work of the CM and health minister is commendable.
As per sources till date 10.36 lakh vaccines are administered in the state.Bicholim MLA and speaker, Rajesh Patnekae; CHC health officer, Dr Medha Salkar; Dr Shekhar Salkar; Dr Rajendra Borkar; BMC chairman, Kundan Falari; deputy director of health, Ciona were among others present on the occasion.
