“Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely at a few places with extremely heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places with strong surface winds over North Goa and South Goa districts of the state,” said IMD.
The state was flooded in several areas, resulting in localized flooding and disruptions to daily activities.
People are being urged to stay informed about official weather forecasts and advisories, to avoid needless travel during periods of intense rainfall, and to stay indoors during the next three days due to the possibility of heavy to very heavy showers and strong surface winds.
