CURCHOREM: The two-day induction programme of the Guardian Angel Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology was held in the institute programme to welcome and familiarize the new students of the first year with the previous year’s students.
The program kicked off with an interactive session led by Chef Guillermo Da Gama, and the Second Class Counselor for FY DHMCT, creating a positive atmosphere for the event. The faculty members and the Principal Fr. Joaquim Rebello, conducted a tour of the campus along with the FY students showcasing various facilities such as labs, training restaurant, training kitchens, administrative office, and library available in the institute. And facilitating interactions with the staff members.
“The purpose of student induction was to welcome and familiarize new students with the academic institution, its facilities, and staff. It aims to create a welcoming environment, build a sense of community, impart essential information, and equip students with the necessary skills and resources for their academic journey. Additionally, induction programs help students feel comfortable, supported, and engaged in their new educational environment.” said Fr. Rebello.
