The core BJP karyakartas say that his only goal Tanawade is his own development and does not care for the development of the party. Due to his care a damn attitude, many BJP core karyakartas have left the party and say they will return only when Tanawade is removed.
The allegations of the karyakartas are understandable as, in recent times, many of them have deserted the party. Also, instead of rewarding the party workers with some posts, Tanawade himself is sitting as the chairman of the Economic Development Corporation (EDC).
Not just Tanawade, the BJP General Secretary, Damodar Naik, who has lost the elections in Fatorda twice, is rewarded with Ravindra Bhavan chairmanship.

There is no denying that Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has become a subject of meme’s in recent times due to his illogical decisions and statements, one of them being 102 per cent of first dose vaccination coverage.
It is being suggested that Goa will get a new CM ahead of the forthcoming polls, taking Sawant’s track record into view.
Agreed, Sawant has been a disaster with his media statements, but at least there is no denying that he is hard-working, unlike his party chief in Goa Sadanand Shet Tanawade, who in recent times is behaving like a Super CM.
The role of the party chief is to manage the organisation and not to create a lobby. The BJP Karyakartas themselves are upset with the method of working of Tanawade, who they say is working for his self-interest rather than the party’s interest.
Karyakartas suggest either Damu should give up his claim on the Fatorda seat or leave Ravindra Bhavan chairmanship. Otherwise, how would he concentrate on his constituency and win?
Tanawade, on the other hand, has publicly said that he wants to strengthen the party and hence is not interested in contesting elections.
If that is so, why does he not give up EDC chairmanships even months before elections to concentrate better on strengthening BJP?
Karyakartas believe that the BJP State unit needs a full-time president and not a part-time one.
Indeed, in the current situation, the anti-incumbency factor is going the hurt the State badly, and Tanawade, as the State BJP chief, has a lot to do than just the padayatra, what he did.
There are talks that many BJP MLA’s, including core leaders and also those who migrated in 2018, are on the verge of quitting the party, and Tanawade seems to be least bothered by that.
Core BJP leaders like Utpal Parrikar, Siddharth Kuncoliencar, Dattaprasad Naik, Gajanan Tilve are on the verge of quitting the party.
This gives rise to the question of whether Tanawade is interested in BJP’s victory in 2022.
