PANAJI: The prestigious Municipality Energy Conservation Initiative Award was today presented to Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Ltd. (IPSCDL) along with the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) for their exceptional commitment to energy conservation and sustainability.
The Minister for Power, Ramkrishna (Sudin) Dhavalikar presented the award at a function in the city.
Representatives from IPSCDL, Sameeuddin Sheikh & from the CCP Sachin Ambe received the award at a grand function which was part of the Energy Conservation Week 2024 celebrations.
The award recognizes various initiatives undertaken by IPSCDL under the Smart Cities Mission within CCP’s jurisdiction.
Key projects include: Transition to E-Buses, Smart Street Lighting, Biomethanation Plants and EV Charging Stations.
This holistic approach not only demonstrated IPSCDL’s practical impact but also their strategic planning and effective execution of energy conservation initiatives, setting a benchmark for sustainable urban development.
