DABOLIM: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President J P Nadda today arrived in Goa on a two-day visit.
The BJP in Goa in a statement said the visit of Nadda was scheduled to strengthen the party organization and boost the morale of the workers ahead of crucial polls which were going to be a litmus test for the ruling.
According to the party sources, Nadda would be in South Goa in the afternoon. He is scheduled to meet MLAs, MPs, and other organizational heads of the state unit of the party.
Nadda will participate in meetings with MLAs, Ministers, office bearers, the state core team, Mandal officials during his visit.
Nadda will also be paying a visit to a vaccination centre in the state. This is the first visit by the party national president to the state in recent times.
Nadda who was supposed to arrive in Goa last week had to cancel his schedule due to some urgent matters in Delhi.
The party’s national general secretary and Goa observer CT Ravi is also in Goa.
