Goa’s health minister in a media interaction gave a hard deadline of Nov 30 when the Sawant Sarkar will provide the 10,000 jobs. AAP demans that Sawant provide an explanation how he will provide these jobs by Nov 30th. We are now sitting in September and so far no ads or openings have been posted. The AAP strongly suspect that this will once again be a jumla where the BJP will open up jobs for application and then cancel them. AAP has already challenged Sawant to give not 10,000 but just 1,000 jobs by the end of this year. And these should be real jobs with selection formalities completed before the end of the year
The Aam Aadmi Party has over the past week highlighted how the BJP has completely failed Goa and it’s youth in providing jobs. Goan youth are being denied employment opportunities. Depite heavily investing in their education, they’re running from pillar to post for jobs to no avail. COVID-19 just worsened the entire situation, so many families have gone broke. There were so many people employed in mining who lost employment due to the corruption of the BJP and Congress. Today in Goa you need ties with MLAs and ministers if you want a government job and the lockdown has slowed down the private sector.
Before every election right from the ZP elections Pramod Sawant has been promising 10,000 jobs to to Goans. But where are these 10,000 jobs. No one has seen a single ad and Sawant is silent about how he plans to give these jobs out. This is truning out to be on of BJP’s classic JUmlas a fact that was pointed out by AAP Goa’s desk incharge Atishi earlier this week. Just yesterday the AAP highlighted that Even 400 health workers who risked their lives to serve Goans during covid waves have not received their wages for past 5 months, even though they are just on contract basis. “Rane and Sawant should stop lying about giving jobs. AAP has already challenged Sawant to give not 10,000 but just 1,000 jobs by the end of this year. And these should be real jobs with selection formalities completed before the end of the year” said AAP Goa Convenor Rahul Mhambre. “Instead of Poorly researched press conferences where the BJP makes a fool of themselves, let them spend their remaining time and energy providing Goenkars with jobs. All of Goa’s youth are watching” said Mhambre
