The North Goa Sessions Court has granted conditional bailed to Bollywood actor Kapil Jhaveri, who was arrested during Crime Branch raid on Vagator rave party Kapil Jhaveri was one of the prime accused in organising the rave party and possession of drugs worth Rs 9 lakhs.
In all 23 persons werde arrested in the raid on August 15-In the intervening night of 15-16 August, reliable information was received that a rave party was being organised in Firangipani Villas at Vagator.
Immediately, 3 teams of Crime Branch under leadership of Rahul Parab, Narayan Chimulkar and LPSIs Rima Naik and Sandhya Gupta raided the premises and detained over 20 persons.
Upon thorough search, narcotics drugs Cocaine, MDMA, Ecstasy Tablets and Charas* were detected in sizable quantities and worth over ₹9 lakh.
FIRs are registered for endangering public safety and for narcotics drugs. Further proceedings are ongoing.
