PANAJI: Town And Country Planning (TCP) Department today has revoked the Technical Clearance Order for proposed construction of Residential Villas and compound wall at property bearing Sy.no. 58/1 at Cavorim village Salcete Taluka.
Whereas, subsequently this office received a complaint dtd 24/6/2024 alongwith document from Mr.Atalie Bareto pertaining to the encroachment into property Sy.no. 59/1-A-2 belonging to complainant. As such the matter was referred to TCP Board.
Town and Country Planning Board said that after examining the matter had issued the direction to issue the showcause to the party and has asked for the withdrawal of technical clearance granted, if the technical clearance is found to have been obtained by misrepresentation of fact and by producing wrong plans and area statement etc
On perusal of the reply it is revealed that the reply submitted dtd 12/7/2024, it was observed that no specific clarification has been given by you with regards to encroachment and demarcation etc.
Also since demarcation proceedings are still pending in Court of Inspector Survey and Land Records, Margao under case по. of 5/ISLR/DEM/SAL/CAVO/79/23, as such boundary of the property are not yet confirmed which may have adverse effect for the set backs maintained, thus the reply given by you is found to be unsatisfactory.

“As a sequel to my representation objecting to the KK Group Villas project in the heritage village of Chandor and further follow-up in the state assembly, the TCP has revoked the technical clearance to the project,” said Alemao
