MARGAO: When a moving express train arrived at the Madgaon station in Goa, a 47-year-old man was reportedly seen engaging in suggestive behavior with a 22-year-old female passenger, according to a police official.
When the incident occurred, the victim and her friends were travelling from Kerala to Goa.
“When the Purna Express coach arrived at Gokarna station in Karnataka, two friends of the young lady who had been sleeping inside observed the accused unzipping his shirt and engaging in an indecent act,” officials said.
The Konkan Railway Police were notified after they promptly dialed the Railways emergency number.
When the train arrived at Margao railway station, Chavan was taken into custody by the Konkan Railway unit of the Goa Police, he continued.
