In a significant gathering that promises to shape the future of the energy sector, India Energy Week 2025 is set to host an impressive array of global leaders, including energy ministers from over 20 countries and 90 CEOs of Fortune 500 energy companies. This event, spanning 1 lakh square meters, will be the second-largest energy gathering globally, underscoring its pivotal role in addressing the industry’s most critical challenges and opportunities.
India Energy Week 2025 will take place from February 11 to 14 at Yashobhoomi, India’s largest convention and exhibition centre in Delhi’s Dwarka. The event is organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and is co-organized by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) and dmg events.
Energy ministers from a diverse range of countries, including Tanzania and Djibouti, will be in attendance. Notable participants include Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Tanzania Deputy Prime Minister Doto Mashaka Biteko, and Republic of Djibouti Energy Minister Yonis Ali Guedi. Heads of international organizations such as Jassim Al Shirawi, Secretary General of the International Energy Forum (IEF), and Haitham Al-Ghais, Secretary General of OPEC, have also confirmed their participation.
The corporate sector will be well-represented, with at least 90 CEOs and executive board members from some of the world’s largest Fortune 500 energy companies. Prominent CEOs include Magda Chambriard of Petrobras, Lorenzo Simonelli of Baker Hughes, and Musabbeh Al Kaabi of Upstream ADNOC. Other key executives such as William Lin and Emeka Emembolu from BP, Russell Hardy of Vitol, and Arnaud Pieton of Technip Energies will also be present.
The conference will feature 10 country pavilions from nations like the US, UK, Russia, Japan, Germany, and the Netherlands, highlighting the global nature of the event. Eight thematic zones will be dedicated to cutting-edge topics such as hydrogen, renewables, biofuels, and petrochemicals, providing a comprehensive platform for innovation and collaboration.
Building on the success of its previous editions, which were inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India Energy Week 2025 aims to solidify its position as a pivotal meeting place for the global energy industry. This event will set the tone for the industry in 2025, offering a critical platform for addressing the most pressing challenges and exploring new opportunities in the energy sector.
