DABOLIM: Panchayats Minister Mauvin Godinho on Friday said that there was a large number of works that had been planned for Dabolim constituency
” We have not had a single inauguration this year on my birthday but we have a lot of development works that are planned for the Constituency. We were supposed to have a foundation stone laid today at the hands of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari but we have postponed the event as of now. We will lay a foundation stone within 10 days at the hands of Gadkari for a flyover between Grade Seperator at the cost of Rs 600 crores. We will then have phase two for the same project which will take it to around 1800 crores which has been sanctioned for our Dabolim constituency. The CM Dr Pramod Sawant has now sanctioned me phase three of the Joggers Park where we will have additional facets including a close door air conditioned hall where 800 people can have their functions and this project will be completed within two years making it the best park of a panchayat area in the entire country. ” Said Godinho
” We are also developing a parade ground at Joggers Park under my own MLAD funds because this area is never water logged . We are already drawing plans and awaiting for the Communidade to agree after which the works will start . We are also having another project opposite the Sateri Temple at Chicalim junction which will be the best project of my Constituency . We are developing the area which used to have the Flinstones hotel and this will be a very classy project but we can’t give details on it as of now. We have already started the works on additional railway bridge at Shantinagar and we are also developing a new toilet block through GSUDA by shifting the old toilet block and this will bring about a big change in the New Vaddem area as well ” sald Godinho
