VASCO: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today left for New Delhi to attend high level meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President to decide on Lok Sabha candidates
“I am leaving for Delhi now, will attend meet, Candidates will be decided by BJP Parliamentary board,” said CM speaking to reporters.
The BJP Parliamentary Board has scheduled a second round of meeting on Thursday in Delhi to finalise candidates for the Lok Sabha polls.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade, who will attend the meeting in New Delhi will submit report cards of each probable candidate to facilitate the Board to make its decision.
Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president J P Nadda will also hold separate meetings with party leaders from several states including Goa.
