PANAJI: West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC Chairperson Mamta Banerjee has appointed Luizinho Faleiro as the National Vice President of All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) with immediate effect.
“The Chairperson of All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) Smt. Mamata Banerjee takes great pride in appointing Luizinho Faleiro as the National Vice President of All India Trinamool Congress with immediate effect,” said AITC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee
He further said that in a political career spanning over four decades, the former Goa Chief Minister, Luizinho Faleiro has worked ardently towards the development of people and that they have full faith that under his able guidance AITC will reach greater heights and continue the fight to protect every Indian citizen’s democratic rights.
Former Goa Chief Minister Luizinho Faleiro, who recently quit the Congress, had joined the Trinamool Congress and called for uniting various factions of the grand old party under the leadership of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to fight the BJP.
