PERNEM: Pernem Police today conducted a narcotic raid near the Government Indoor Stadium at Sawalwada Pernem and arrested a Maharashtra native with ganja worth Rs 1.25 lakhs.
Police said that upon specific and reliable information raid was conducted near Government Indoor Stadium, Sawalwada, Pernem where Sonu S/o Mustakim Tailer, age 29 years, R/o Malpem Virnoda Pernem Goa N/o Mumbai Maharashtra was found possession of 1.240 Kgs of suspected Narcotic drugs known as Ganja.
The offence vide Pernem Police Station Crime No. 31/2024 U/s 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, 1985 was registered and Ganja weighting 1.240 Kg W/Rs 1,25,000/- were seized.
The accused person Sonu S/o Mustakim Tailer, age 29 years, R/o Malpem Virnoda Pernem Goa N/o Mumbai Maharashtra was placed under arrest.
